contemporary and 20 th century art, weaving interesting stories that are culturally and
socially informed.

uncloak the mystery of fine art.
Whether you have a specialist subject or theme in mind, this course can help you! From
Minimalism to Fauvism, Stuckism to Destructivism, there is no area of theory within fine art
that can't be broken down, making it digestable and fun.
This course places art history in a modern context, explaining why many historical art
movements are still important today.
No previous knowledge is required.

Tutor Information:
Adam Hogarth is an artist living in Margate. Adam completed at BA Hons in Northumbria
University and an MFA in Fine Art Printmaking at The Royal College of Art. From 2016 to
2020 Adam was the Printmaking Fellow at The Royal Academy of Arts.
Adam has a wealth of academic and professional experience, working and exhibiting
alongside internationally recognised artists. He is currently a part time Fine Art Lecturer at
Medway School of Art.

Adam’s teaching approach caters towards the needs of individuals with an emphasis on
nurturing a student’s individual voice.
