This course is a fun and relaxed way to get you into using art materials, using pencils, pastels, ink and paint. You will meet like minded individuals where you can all learn together.

Course Description:

In this Drawing and painting course you will discover drawing and painting tips and advice on design elements such as basics in composition, line and tone, colour theory, texture and pattern rendering and layering techniques. This course is a fun and relaxed way to get you into using art materials, using pencils, pastels, ink and paint. You will meet like minded individuals where you can all learn together.     

    You will develop observational and imaginative interpretations of subject matter such as landscapes, still life, figures, animals and basic abstraction         art applications.

       We will encourage your own personal expressive style.
        Encourage you to develop  a sketch book and portfolio building
       You will look at different artists approaches and techniques with demonstrations and examples.
       You will exploring basic techniques and materials such as drawing pencils, pastels and water based ink and paint .

What to bring:

Bring any materials you have. The first lesson will be covered and then the tutor can advise of what you will need for future classes.
