There is no session on the 31/10 or the 7/11 and the final class on 5th December will be in RM 3 Hilderstone.

Who can join this course:

The course is designed for students who have been attending regular art classes or have done workshops or been practicing art at home. You have reasonable knowledge of drawing and mark making in pencil and charcoal and you have gained some experience with painting in watercolour and acrylic paint. You don’t need to be an expert but have some experience and want to try new things.

Course Description:
The course consists of ten 2.5-hour sessions. You will get the opportunity to look at different styles of art, opportunity to develop your pre-existing skills, make experimental drawings and tap into your own creativity and get to explore different ways of using familiar materials to create some interesting and dynamic artworks.

What students need to bring:
Bring a sketchbook/ pencils and some watercolour paints/ brushes to the first class. A list of all the materials required will be given to you in the first session

Angela Wooi is a passionate Art Educator and artist based in Margate. She believes in the power of creativity to inspire confidence and self expression. With a background in Fine art and performing arts, she has a warm and engaging approach to her classes; guiding students to explore techniques while developing their own artistic voice.
