The objectives of this course are:
- Demonstrate awareness of key aspects of Italian culture and society
- Order food and drinks in a bar or restaurant, book a table on the phone
- Simple questions for everyday shopping
- Numbers (to be used with prices as well)
What students need to bring:
Pen and pad, and their willingness to make mistakes!
A possible textbook to buy will be discussed during the first lesson.
Tutor Information:
Selene is an experienced language tutor and teaches Italian, Spanish and Latin to adult and
young adults. Her lessons are always very interactive and based on the learners’ needs to
achieve common objectives together. She has a BA in English and MA in Translation and
enjoys reading novels from all around the world. In her free time she is a keen explorer, so
if not lost in a book, you will find her trail running, planning a short trip or browsing an
artisanal market.
