Who can join this course:

Adults with no, or very little, knowledge of Italian.

Course Description:

By the end of the course, you will have a basic understanding of the core language – verb forms, key vocabulary for a tourist visit to Italy. You’ll also be able to read a menu and order a meal in a restaurant, buy drinks in a bar, count money, buy a train ticket at the train station etc 
What will you gain from this course: By the end of the course, you’ll be able to enjoy a trip to Italy and tackle basic, transactional conversations.
 
What students need to bring:

Pen, paper, enthusiasm to try a new language.

Tutor Information:

Lee Shutler BA(hons), PGDip TESOL, MA TESOL.  Lee has over 30 years’ experience of teaching languages, primarily English as a Foreign Language. Until last year he was Principal at Hilderstone College. Lee lived and worked in Italy for 6 years and keeps his Italian “alive” by reading Italian newspapers online and listening to Italian popular music.
