Course Description:

This half day workshop is perfect for diving into the world of miniature. Take your drawing and painting to another level, learning how to scale down the size but scale up the detail. ITs the perfect way to spend the day relaxing, learning and having fun.

Who can join:
Beginners/intermediate.  Anyone curious.

What will you gain:

An understanding of the principles of painting and drawing MINIATURE scale.
To learn precision, simplification,  contrast, exaggeration and highlights.  Base coats and layering.
We will look at examples  of MINIATURES in Art ranging from micro portraits to tiny landscapes/seascape and flora and fauna. 
Participants  will choose  their own tiny  artwork  to paint / draw and aim to create  a unique finished piece.

What students need to bring;

Sketch book if you have one.
